We are hoping to raise $30,000 to put on a new, sustainable and permanent roof on the LCHS outdoor kennel area.

Who is LCHS

Leavenworth County Humane Society is the only no-kill shelter in Leavenworth County, located on the south side of Lansing, KS.

About the Organizers

Project Raise the Ruff was born out of an idea for a community service project designed by Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) members at the University of Saint Mary.

Our Strategic Plan

How You Can Help

The Phi Beta Lambda chapter at the University of Saint Mary is spearheading a community service project to raise funds for the Leavenworth County Humane Society. The shelter needs a sustainable, permanent roof on their outdoor kennels, and we are hoping that you can help us reach our goal.

We are putting together a t-shirt fundraiser as one of the efforts, where sponsors of “Project Raise the Ruff” can have their business or individual name or logo on the back of the shirt.

  • Gold level of sponsorship starts at donations of $1,000 or more and the businesses logo will be displayed

  • Silver level is all donations less than $1,000 but more than $500.

  • Bronze level of giving is more than $250 but less than $500

All donors will also be recognized on our social media for all three levels of giving and all three levels of donation will receive at T-Shirt as well!

Checks can be made out to Leavenworth County Humane Society with Raise the Ruff in the memo and mailed to ATTN: Clayton Steward 4100 S 4th Street Berkel Hall Leavenworth, Kansas 66048. If you would like to give online, you can find our Facebook Page at Project Raise the Ruff. Help us reach our goal of $30,000 to put on a roof that will keep shelter dogs comfortable year-round, as they await finding their forever home.
